Finding Your Voice

When Services Change - You Only Have Minutes To Share Why It Matters For Your Neurodivergent Child

You tell your story constantly.

To doctors, teachers, random strangers side-eyeing you in the grocery store checkout lane…

But we aren’t taught how to tell that story in a way that leads to real change – whether it’s in the classroom, the grocery store, or Capital Hill.

That’s why we’re hosting this workshop with Pattie Archuleta, parent of an autistic adult and long-time disability advocate.

What This Workshop Helps With

This interactive workshop helps you take the caregiving story you already tell – again and again – and turn it into a clear, intentional advocacy tool so your child gets the services and accommodations they need.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Clarify what part of your story matters most in different situations
  • Adjust your message depending on who’s listening (schools, providers, agencies, elected representatives)
  • Remove emotional labor that doesn’t move the system
  • Advocate without feeling like you’re constantly starting over

Who This Is For

This workshop is perfect for you if you are:

  • navigating school, healthcare, or service systems
  • preparing for IEP meetings, appeals, or policy conversations
  • ready to level up your advocacy game and start sharing your story to impact state and federal changes
